A new batch of PinPoint triggers is ready, for the following rifles: Anschütz, Feinwerkbau, Steyr and Walther. These rifles have got a double trigger rail so one trigger unit fits for right/left handed shooters and with short/long fingers as well, depending the position and forwards or backwards reaching direction, so there’s only one trigger for each rifle.
This is the Steyr trigger, with the popular Pyramids blade. The blade can be rotated to switch between central and offset position. I do advise to set the blade exactly perpendicular to the direction of pull, there’s no need to rotate the blade to different awkward positions. Yes I know that many shooters do this but only because their finger is too short, but this trigger can be set backwards and offset so you can reach it comfortably.
Please note that on Steyr rifles, there is a grub screw between the trigger rails, that shouldn’t stand out more than 2 mm from the plate, you might need to replace it with a shorter one.
The webshop offers a wide range of trigger blades (pyramids, grooves, ridges, balls, flat shapes etc.), the two sides always have the same pattern but with a coarse and a fine variation of the chosen surface, see the pyramids on the photo above and below.
As you can see, the new trigger can be rotated by 180° for shooters with shorter or longer fingers. The longitudinal adjustment range is: Feinwerkbau = 30 mm, Steyr = 34 mm, Walther = 27 mm (in general: length of the rifle’s trigger rail + 6 mm).
Another advantage of PinPoint triggers is that the blade is only 6 mm high so the trigger weight will be always the same.
