What Data We Collect and For What Reason?

We only collect information that we need that is related to your order or your enquiry to us. This includes your:
– Name
– Billing Address
– Shipping Address
– Email Address
– Phone Nr.
– Debit/Credit Card Information

In addition we also collect information on your IP address, browser type, and Refer URL data. We use this data to prevent hacking attempts, help us know what web browsers people are using, and find out where our visitors are coming from so that we can improve our marketing.

Your information is only used to fill your order or to contact you if there is any problem or questions with your order, or to notify you about and help to recover abandoned carts, answer your questions. We DO NOT sell or redistribute your information to ANYONE.

How long we retain your data

The data above is stored on our server for at least 6 years for accounting purposes. If you fill in the Checkout page but don’t proceed with your order, your name, e-mail address and cart content may be stored for 1 month so we can contact you and help you to recover your abandoned cart.

How we protect your data

Your information is encrypted using a Secure Sockets Layer before it is transmitted over a web server. We DO NOT store your Credit Card data, you always give them directly to the payment gateway (Stripe or Paypal).

Registered users

By creating an account with our store, you will be able to move through the checkout process faster, store multiple shipping addresses, view and track your carts and orders in your account and more.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

If you contact us via the form on our Contact page, your name, e-mail address and phone number will be sent to the site owner’s e-mail address.
