I had some new laser sintered parts on my rifle again: the prototype of the EagleEye Parallax magnifier, the Anti-POI-Shift Kit, plus some replacement parts in the stock. The trigger blade was a prototype of the new ‘Round’ FlexiPoint trigger blade (the ‘Edge’ version), and of course the good old FolloWing…
I started the competition exactly as last time at Rivington: missed 2 in the first three lanes. But this time I was able to stay clear on the rest so finished with 48 ex 50 points and won this GP. Well, I have to admit that it wasn’t so windy as it was in Rivington (where I missed 17 in that crazy wind). I left the mrs. at home so nothing could make me nervous ;-), we had a beautiful weather with a weak but always changing wind. I had a bad start but found myself quickly and enjoyed the shooting.
The prototype of EagleEye magnifier worked very well. In the last half a year I was struggling to see the numbers on the parallax wheel, also had some dumb misses when reading the 13 as 18 on the scale… But now, with this magnifier, I was able to see everything crystal clear, with my eyes on the scope. It saves a lot of time, if you don’t need to take the rifle off the eye and lean back after every rangefinding, I had more time to choose the right moment for the shot. Now I can’t wait to have the final version of EagleEye printed…
This was an exceptionally good day for the Sinter3D Team, Brian also had his 1st place, in the Piston class! :-)
