As I’m getting older, it’s hard to see the sidewheel sharply. So my latest design is a scope magnifier for the ‘eagle-eyed’ ones… It fits to all scope models, fixed by two cable ties. The small window contains a Fresnel-type magnifying lens that is thin, lightweight and unbreakable.
You can adjust its position and angles in many ways, and the lens gives a sharp picture of the parallax wheel (when rotated, also of the elevation turret), so you don’t need to take your eyes off the scope after rangefinding, when you want to read the distance and dial in. The magnifier can be folded to the scope tube when carrying the rifle in its case.
The first prototype is already being printed, photos coming in 1-2 weeks…
