Anti-POI-Shift Kit Visuals

Let me show you a couple of photos of the Feinwerkbau Anti-POI-Shift Kit. This system allows you to get rid of the POI-shift of Feinwerkbau rifles, making the barrel free-floated but still well-supported and protected.

With transparent barrel and air cylinder for the better visibility. The left one goes to the place of the original A-clamp, holding the cylinder and protecting the barrel but letting it free float. The other one hold the barrel right after the elephant ears, giving a stable support to it but without bending the barrel, causing POI-shift.

With ‘real’ barrel and cylinder: the clearing around the barrel is 2.5 mm, this allows it float but protects it from further bending when accidentally knocked to anything. The support unit hold the barrel only in the middle in a 5 mm area so can’t give any torque to it, to avoid POI-shift.

I made an X-ray visual, too. As you can see, the barrel is fixed by two symmetrical grub screws, and the support unit can be positioned within 7.5 mm forward or back. It has to be as close to the cocking ears as possible, but still letting them to move until the end of their way.

Another visual about the parts. They have a flange so they will sit on the top of the Alutec stock’s ‘U’ shape, giving even more support for the whole system.
